Nigeria won’t abandon fossil fuels, adopts gas as transition fuel

ABUJA — Nigeria will not abandon fossil fuels and has adopted gas as a transition fuel, Nigeria’s oil minister Timipre Sylva said on Tuesday, at a time when some countries are pushing policies to divest from hydrocarbons.
